WINEMAKING
The grapes come from carefully selected estate vineyards harvested at optimal ripeness. After destemming and crushing, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation followed by ageing in French and American oak barrels for several months, adding complexity, structure and elegance.
TASTING NOTES
Deep cherry red colour with garnet reflections. On the nose it is complex and elegant, with aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by spicy, toasted notes and subtle hints of cocoa and vanilla from oak ageing. On the palate it is broad, structured and well balanced, with ripe tannins and a long, persistent finish.
FOOD PAIRING
Ideal to accompany red meats, roasted dishes, game and traditional stews. It also pairs very well with aged cheeses, Iberian cured meats and Mediterranean cuisine.
